Read this before you deposit.

The MMO Alpha Terminal is a custodial trading product. The Public Vault and the Solo Agent both hold private keys on a server we operate. Deposits trade memecoins on Solana, an asset class with documented high volatility and frequent total losses. This page explains what can go wrong so you can make an informed decision.

ImportantOnly deposit funds you are prepared to lose entirely. There is no recovery mechanism, no insurance payout, and no support channel that can refund a trading loss.
01

Custodial Architecture

The Public Vault keypair and every Solo Agent keypair are generated server-side and stored in a database, encrypted with AES-256-GCM. The master encryption key lives in a server environment variable. This means:

  • The server can sign transactions on behalf of the vault and on behalf of each Solo Agent.
  • If the server is compromised AND the master encryption key is exfiltrated together, an attacker can decrypt the keys and move funds.
  • If the master encryption key is lost, the encrypted keys become permanently unreadable. Funds locked under them would be irrecoverable.

This is a custodial design. It is not a smart-contract vault, it is not non-custodial, and it does not have the same trust profile as DeFi protocols that hold funds in program-derived accounts. A non-custodial on-chain version is in development but is not the system you are using today.

02

Trading Risk

The vault and the agent trade Solana memecoins. This asset class has the following statistical realities, which apply to every depositor regardless of preset:

  • Individual trades can lose 100% of their position size within minutes due to rug pulls, liquidity removal, or unauthorized mint authority changes.
  • Win-rate over any short window can be near zero. A losing day is not a malfunction, it is an expected outcome of trading volatile assets.
  • Signal quality is probabilistic, not deterministic. A high alphaScore does not guarantee a profitable trade, it only describes the historical correlation between the signal pattern and forward returns.
  • Slippage, MEV, and failed transactions are normal cost of execution. Realized PnL will lag the theoretical signal performance.
  • Cumulative drawdown can exceed 50% before any single safety mechanism triggers.

You can lose your entire principal. There is no scenario in which the vault or the agent is guaranteed to return a profit, return your principal, or recover from a drawdown.

03

V1 Protections

V1 ships with the following protections. None of these is a guarantee, each is a statistical risk reducer:

  • Circuit breaker. Three consecutive losses each worse than 20% auto-pauses the vault until a human admin reviews.
  • Position timeout. Every position has a maximum hold duration after which it auto-closes.
  • Stop-loss. Each position has a per-preset stop-loss threshold.
  • Per-trade cap. The vault risks at most 2% of NAV per signal during V1 soft launch.
  • Signal quality filter. V1 vault entries require GOLD tier only with alphaScore at least 80 and rugRisk at most 25.
  • TVL cap. V1 vault is capped at 5 SOL TVL and raises gradually based on track record.

These mechanisms reduce the probability of catastrophic loss. They do not eliminate it. A coordinated rug pull executed faster than the polling interval can still drain a position. A bug in the trade engine could fail to trigger a stop-loss.

04

No Active Insurance

The Insurance Fund described in the documentation is planned but is not active during the V1 soft launch. There is no rebate available for trading losses, drawdowns, protocol bugs, or any other event during V1.

If the vault loses money on your behalf, that loss is fully borne by you in proportion to your share count. There is no fund, no underwriter, and no third-party guarantor that will make you whole.

05

Beta Software

The terminal, the vault, the agent, the signal pipeline, and the supporting infrastructure are beta software. They are deployed and operated by a small team and have not been independently audited. Specifically:

  • The custodial trading code path has not been audited by a third-party security firm.
  • The on-chain Anchor program for V2 is code-complete but is not built, not deployed, and not audited at the time of writing.
  • The Jupiter routing layer is a third-party service whose behavior we do not control.
  • Solana RPC endpoints can be slow, can rate-limit, can return stale data, and can outright fail.
  • Outages, downtime, and degraded service are possible without notice. During such windows, withdrawals may be delayed and positions may go unmanaged.
06

Jurisdictional Notice

You are solely responsible for determining whether using this product is legal in your jurisdiction and for complying with all applicable laws including securities laws, tax obligations, sanctions regimes, and anti-money-laundering requirements.

The terminal does not perform Know Your Customer checks. It does not collect identity documents. It does not provide tax forms. If your local law requires those things to access a custodial trading product, you should not use this terminal.

Use of the terminal from jurisdictions subject to comprehensive sanctions, or by persons listed on relevant sanctions lists, is prohibited.

07

Not Financial Advice

Nothing on the terminal, including signal scores, tier labels, leaderboards, or position recommendations, constitutes investment advice, financial advice, tax advice, or any other form of professional advice. The signal pipeline is a pattern-matching tool. Its output should not be interpreted as a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset.

Past performance of the vault, the agent, or any signal tier is not a reliable indicator of future results.
